I am a writer. I have published short stories and poems. I have a dusty manuscript in my desk. I am currently working on a YA novel. If you like fantasy, history, kick ass women, mythology, and magic, then you'll probably enjoy what I write.I am queer, chronically ill, and an advocate for a variety of causes near and dear to my heart.
I have a bunch of college degrees. The weirdest one is probably my B.A. in Religious Studies. Religious Studies is the scientific study of religion. Ask me about it sometime! This degree comes in handy when I'm conducting research for my work.
I am an educator and historian by trade. My greatest loves call me mama. Well, except for my husband. I won't tell you what he calls me.
I like snuggly warm sweaters, hot cocoa, quiet mountain paths, large bodies of water, historic architecture, yoga, and books. I enjoy being outdoors. I blog about my life.
