I'm taking part in the 30 Day Book Challenge! I found it on my friend's blog (which you should read because it's great), and I liked the idea so I stole it. The rules are posted below my Day 1 Post. Scroll down to add your blog to the blog meme (only if you're participating in the challenge!). You can also add your own meme to your blog.
Day 1: The Best Book You Read Last Year
This book was actually written in 1996, but I never read it. Then someone created a television series based on the book and bookstores stocked their shelves with John Updike books. I loved The Witches of Eastwick. It's a masterpiece. It's creatively written and contains a unique storyline. Updike's masterful description of the characters and settings brings the world of Eastwick to life. It's an amazing book. I liked it so much that I read it twice, back to back.
A blogging friend of mine posted a bookish meme, after reading it on another blogging friend's site. I can't not participate! This post was written in response to the 30 Days of Books.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion Kerry! I've actually read bits and pieces of "The Secret." I even blogged about trying to be more positive lol :)
ReplyDeleteFor Day 26 how about "The Primal Wound" by Nancy Verrier?
ReplyDeleteVon, I am done arguing with you about adoption. Period. Done. This post is not about adoption, nor will it be. It is about good reading. Good luck to you.
ReplyDeleteGood news Jennifer since I wasn't arguing merely putting some truth your way.
ReplyDeleteVon, darling, your truth is not everyone's truth. Now have a nice day. I welcome you to take part in my 30 Day Book Challenge. Perhaps we can agree on fictional reading material if nothing else.
