A Wedding!

My best friend is getting married.  Our conversations now revolve around venues, cakes, dresses, and other girly wedding stuff.  You'd think with my impending divorce this would be a bit weird for me, but it's not.  Truth be told--I love it!

I am so excited for her.  I can't wait to go to her wedding next year!  I can't wait to see her tie the knot with a man I think is just perfect for her.  She deserves her happily ever after and she's going to get it.  I'm elated.

I forgot how much I enjoy planning weddings.  I forgot how much I love organizing big events and finding pretty decorations.  Heck, I even forgot how much I love making websites until I created the bare bones version of her (very early stage) wedding website! 

This is fun. 

This is exciting.

This is beautiful and amazing and wonderful....

and it fills me with HOPE.

 It fills me with hope that some people really do get their happily ever after.  It fills me with hope for white picket fences and chubby, giggling babies and celebrations of true love that lasts a lifetime.
