Welcome 2013!

We kicked 2013 off with some of my very best friends in the whole world. It was really nice to start 2013 off on the right foot--surrounded by my loved ones and kissing the love of my life at midnight.

I have a lot on my plate in 2013--tons of plans, goals, ambitions, dreams--and you know what?  I think they're all going to come to fruition. 2013 is my year. 

This is my final year of grad school.  I will graduate in December with my M.A. in History.  I can't worry about graduation just yet though.  This semester is going to be my hardest yet, and while I'm looking forward to digging into thesis research, I am not naive enough to think it will be easy.  I plan on writing the introductory chapter of my thesis this semester, and I'm hoping I can work that into the two courses I'm taking.

I am also currently working on a short story slated for publication by the amazing 7DS Books.  Shelly is amazing and it is really nice to work with someone who is not just a great editor, but a great friend.  My story will be finished (on my end anyway) by next Monday night.  That's really exciting for me, and I'll be posting more later.

Also, Kenneth and I have some pretty amazing plans for 2013.  But it's not time to tell you about that....yet.
