Way to Go Ava!!

This is a mommy brag book post.  I have to take a moment to brag on my 7 year old.  Ava participated in a fun run to raise money for her school.  She raised $70 which ain't too shabby for a 7 year old!  More importantly, however, she ran 35 WHOLE LAPS! 

Ava's dad was pretty athletic in high school so maybe she's taking after him in that regard.  I'm also a runner, but I'm not honestly sure Ava even knows I run.  Regardless, she is clearly a runner! She ran 35 laps to raise money for her school. I'm sure some kids didn't even finish (but they tried, and that's what is important). 

We're really proud of Ava because she finished what she started.  She raised money for her school and contributed to her community.  Most importantly, though, I'm pretty sure she had fun doing it.  So way to go Ava! Your dad, myself, and your mom are all so very proud of you! So is your grandma,and I bet your mom's parents are really proud too!  We wish we could have been there for the fun run.
